When Scottish born John Kirkcaldie and Englishman Robert Stains established their first store in a shed on the beach at what was then known as Port Nicholson in November 1863, they started a tradition that continues today.The business moved to its present site in the heart of Lambton Quay in 1868 and continued to grow, its growth and prosperity matching that of the city.The Ottoman Collection are proud to be associated with iconic store in the heart of Wellington .
